A journey of 2 hours drive will be maximum to reach the Machame Gate. Your hike will begin soon after completing the necessary registrations at the gate.<\/p><p>We depart the park gate and walk through the rain forest on a winding trail up a ridge. At lower elevations, the trail can be muddy and slippery. Gaiters and trekking poles are a good idea here. The journey will start from the Africa Safari Camp where you will be picked up by our professional drivers and guides. Today, you will get to enjoy various tourist attractions like spotting wildlife including elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope and more. You will also see birds and other landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.<\/p><p>In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch and some time to rest, then continue with the game drive until the evening.
